This temple is believed to be existing since more than around 1500 years and is believed to be established by Sage Gauthama who had performed penance here. Temple is on top of the small hill , which was earlier surrounded by a fort during the reign of the kings. Now these forts are devastated and only few parts remain.
ऐसा माना जाता है कि यह मंदिर लगभग 1500 वर्षों से भी अधिक समय से मौजूद है और माना जाता है कि इसकी स्थापना ऋषि गौतम ने की थी जिन्होंने यहाँ तपस्या की थी। मंदिर छोटी पहाड़ी के ऊपर है, जो पहले राजाओं के शासनकाल के दौरान एक किले से घिरा हुआ था। अब ये किले तबाह हो गए हैं और कुछ ही हिस्से बचे हैं।
Idols of Lord Srinivasa (Thimmaraya Swamy) , Lakshmi , Padmavathi , Ganapathi , Kashi Vishwanatha , Parvathi are present here. For most of the people in the surrounding 21 villages Lord Srinivasa is the deity worshiped here.
भगवान श्रीनिवास (थिमाराया स्वामी), लक्ष्मी, पद्मावती, गणपति, काशी विश्वनाथ, पार्वती की मूर्तियाँ यहाँ मौजूद हैं। आसपास के 21 गाँवों में अधिकांश लोगों के लिए भगवान श्रीनिवास यहां स्थापित देवता हैं।
