The Mahakumbh of tribal Gond society is going on in the Kachargarh cave located at Gondia. This cave is said to be the cradle of tribal Gond society, but this place is in oblivion today.
गोंदिया स्थित कचारगढ़ गुफा में आदिवासी गोंड समाज का महाकुंभ चल रहा है। इस गुफा को आदिवासी गोंड समाज का उद्गम स्थल कहा जाता है, लेकिन यह जगह आज गुमनामी में है।

Kachargarh is the largest natural cave in Asia.
कचारगढ़ एशिया की सबसे बड़ी प्राकृतिक गुफा है।
यह गुफा महाराष्ट्र और छत्तीसगढ़ बॉर्डर पर बेहद खतरनाक माने जाने वाले नक्सलग्रस इलाके में है।
Kachargarh Cave is situated at a height of 518 meters and the height of the cave is 94 meters and the entrance to the cave is 25 meters.
कचारगढ़ गुफा 518 मीटर ऊंचाई पर स्थित है तथा गुफा की ऊंचाई 94 मीटर होकर 25 मीटर का गुफा का द्वार है।
Gondi religion was founded 5000 years ago by Parikopar Lingo. Dharam Guru Pahandi Paikkopar Lingo of Adivasi Gond started propagating religion from this site. Hence this cave is called Pahandi Pari Kopar Lingo Kachargarh Cave.
गोंडी धर्म की स्थापना पारीकोपार लिंगो ने 5000 वर्ष पूर्व की थी। आदिवासी गोंड के धर्म गुरु पहांदी पारीकोपार लिंगो ने इस स्थल से धर्म का प्रचार शुरू किया। इसलिए इस गुफा को पहांदी पारी कोपार लिंगो कचारगढ़ गुफा कहा जाता है।
In this cave, the religious lord Parikopar Lingas resided and gave the mantra to propagate 12 followers and 750 Gond community preachers by giving them initiation of religion. Later the Gond kings established their small states and divided the royal system into 4 divisions. Which includes Yerragutakor, Ummogutta core, Sahimalagutta core and Afokagutta core. Samumedikot of Yergutta Corps was born in this republic to a son named Karitula named Kosodum. Which was considered as the main leader.
इसी गुफा में धर्मगुरु पारीकोपार लिंगों ने निवास कर 12 अनुयायी को तथा 750 गोंड समाज के प्रचारों को धर्म की दीक्षा देकर प्रचार-प्रसार करने का मंत्र दिया। बाद में गोंड राजाओं ने अपने छोटे-छोटे राज्यों की स्थापना कर राज पद्धति को 4 विभाग में बांट लिया। जिसमें येरगुट्टाकोर, उम्मोगुट्टा कोर, सहीमालगुट्टा कोर तथा अफोकागुट्टा कोर का समावेश है। येरगुट्टा कोर के समूंमेडीकोट इस गणराज्य में करीतुला नाम का एक कोसोडुम नाम के पुत्र ने जन्म लिया। जिसे गण प्रमुख माना गया।
