A devotee of Lord Ganesha gave the Shree Ganesha Trust a 1acre property to build the temple in 1977AD. Set after 7 years. Lord Ganesha’s Panchamukhi Idol was supported by Kamalamma and Shri C. L. Lakshmanaraju. On February 6, 1984, Shri Shri Shri Abhinava Vidyateertha Swami of Sharath Peetha Shrungeri led the Ganesh Pratisthanapa.

The Gopuram of this temple houses 30 ft PanchaMukhi Ganesha painted in golden color inside the temple sanctum, about 6ft idol of Panchamukhi Ganesha is consecrated beside to temple is Vishwakarma community guru Ashrama.

'Chandra Choodeswarar' means the Eshwara who wears the Moon (Chandra) as an ornament on his crest or tuft of hair on top of the head, Shiva's consort Parvathi is worshiped here as Maragathambal. ‘Maragatham’ means green and ‘Ambal’ means mother. The original Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple was built in the 9th century. The first phase is believed to have been built by the Bana Queen Ratnavali.
